Life Lately: Slighty Stressed & IN LOVE?!?

So.... recently life has been a little bit stressful. I mean I still haven't wrapped my head around the thought that I'm actually going to be a freshmen in high school- THIS FALL. I honestly feel like I'm still 5. Anyone else in the same boat?! It's just all hitting me so fast, I just wish it will slow down. I'm literally drowning in my own thoughts... Will I be alright in high school? I hope so....


As for tennis, you may know I'm actually trying out for the girl's JV team this year! I have never played competitively before for tennis and I'm not very good, and I'm just super nervous for open courts and tryouts! What if I'm not good enough? My dad even has many doubts about me making it- but, I'm going to train hard and try my best!

I've also been really into yoga lately- you know to kinda calm me down from tennis (I can be quite aggressive) and I can say yoga has been great! I watch YouTube videos and just follow along the "virtual yoga class" (kinda like how Blogilates works) and yoga srsly puts me into the best mood. It's like 15 minutes into a world of calm relaxation- It's amazing! And some of my friends kinda tease me about it- I mean we're teenagers. But, I don't care. YOU have to try yoga at least once! I follow a lot of yoga accounts on Instagram (btw my IG is @naeun_l) and they just look so cool! Plus, yoga wear is srsly the most comfortable thing in the world. Not joking.

For my studies, you know how Asian parents are- no break in the summer from learning. I have an AP History textbook my dad has been nailing me on, along with a summer reading assignment for Advanced Language Arts, and of course topping my Chinese and Korean hw my mom+dad give me. Yeah, it's a hard knock life. :(

Lastly, 2 weeks ago- my fam finally went to this Korean church that's kinda new in town. And literally every single Korean family in a 20 mile radius is there. I've grown close to a Korean exchange student from my school (she's so chill & we're both BtoB fans! #melodies). And also, I got intertwined with a guy.

He's someone kinda from my past. I kinda sorta had a crush on a kid with the same name as him- and when this guy moved here my guy friends said I liked him instead of the guy I actually liked. (Confusing right?) Anyways, I think he believes I like him (which is alright I'll give it to him :P) but, anyways our families instantly clicked and now we're on the family friend basis... And we ride the same bus. And my parents are actually considering moving into his neighborhood. OH LAWD.

And Malaysian mums be like..... "Oi, Naeun- maybe you can borrow him for homecoming!"
